National Domestic Violence Order Scheme

Victims of domestic violence who have taken out apprehended violence orders will no longer be unprotected when they cross state borders from Saturday 25 November 2017, as a national database of restraining order information across Australia begins operation. All Family Violence Orders (FVOs – sometimes called DVOs) issued from thenare automatically nationally recognised and enforceable.
